The Crye Precision G3 Field Shirt™ is a traditionally tailored, general-purpose field garment designed for durability, simplicity, and compatibility with load carriage systems, forming part of the G3 uniform system.
It is constructed from Mil-Spec 50/50 NYCO ripstop fabric, providing a balance of abrasion resistance, durability, and long-term field reliability. The design prioritises a conventional uniform profile rather than the high-ventilation, body-armour-specific layout of combat shirts.
The shirt features NoProfile™ dual-entry chest pockets, accessible from both the top and side to maintain usability while wearing body armour. Additional storage is provided through slanted, dual-layer bicep pockets with segmented VELCRO® panels to reduce bulk and support identification patches.
Functional detailing includes a pen pocket on the left arm and an integrated eye-pro hanger system within the sleeve pockets, supporting equipment management without adding external bulk.
The sleeves are designed with reinforced, shaped elbows, compatible with removable AIRFLEX™ elbow pads (sold separately), providing optional protection while maintaining a low-profile silhouette.
The overall construction emphasises robustness and simplicity, making it suited to routine field use, training, and environments where durability and traditional uniform structure are prioritised over maximum breathability or integrated stretch systems.
